Let's get to know your dentist.

Hi,
I'm Dr. Katie Carroll

Education:
Indiana University // Undergrad
Case Western School of Dental Medicine // DMD
Northwestern Memorial // Residency
What's your philsophy in dentistry?
I love helping people. Whether it is helping someone who doesn’t love their smile and lacks confidence, someone who is in pain or someone who is afraid. I love uncovering what is going on and working with my patient to establish a mutual trust so that we can help achieve their goals.
Why did you become a dentist?
Growing up with parents in the healthcare field, I admired their ability to consistently aid others with their skills. This inspired me to pursue a similar path, and dentistry resonated with me. It's not just about alleviating pain; it's also about enhancing smiles and boosting confidence, because a smile is often the first thing we notice.
What is your favorite way to give back to the community?
Dr. Aaron and I have found many ways to give back to the community through a lot of different organizations. March of Dimes is one that is particularly meaningful to us because our first born was born premature. We also really like supporting the communities and schools we have our practices in.
What is your #1 goal for your patients?
That they leave our office after each appointment smiling and comfortable. So many people have had bad experiences with dentists and we're really trying to make a difficult and show people that the dentist doesn't have to be terrifying.
What are some of your favorite things?
Food:
I LOVE sushi and any ethnic food.
Drink:
Coffee keeps me running but I love a great glass of wine!
Activities:
Reading, spending time with my family, exercising, and traveling!
Hi,
I'm Dr. Aaron Carroll

Education:
University of Miami // Undergrad
Ohio State University College of Dentistry // DDS
What's your philsophy in dentistry?
I like to approach dentistry with a conservative and thoughtful approach for my patients. I like to understand my patient's needs, wants, and limitations before making any decisions on how best to help them out.
Why did you become a dentist?
I was always interested in medicine and was exposed at a young age to it since my dad is a medical doctor. As a kid, I was always excited going to the dentist and found several aspects through the years growing up that lead me down the path to dental school.
What is your favorite way to give back to the community?
Me and Dr. Katie truly believes that we would be nowhere without the support of the communities we serve every day. We continually give back to the community and local schools to show them that we care about everyone, not just our patients.
What is your #1 goal for your patients?
Patient comfort is the utmost importance to me. It's the goal of our offices to make everyone feel comfortable from when they come in to when they leave. We designed our new offices to include natural light, big windows, relaxing rooms, and implemented a comfort menu to help address anxiety and discomfort. I want my patients to feel at ease when they leave our office.
What are some of your favorite things?
Food:
Hands down- pizza. It's amazing.
Drink:
I get a lot of hate for this, but chocolate milk is my go-to.
Activities:
Hanging out with family, any and all racquet sports (huge on pickleball right now) and chess.

Hi,
I'm Dr. Brad Kripke

Education:
Ohio State University // Undergrad
Ohio State University College of Dentistry // DDS
What's your philsophy in dentistry?
The earlier a patient can start a positive dental experience the better! I find that kids that come at a very early age become comfortable at the dentist much sooner. Especially when we can see all members of the family together!
Why did you become
a dentist?
I always really enjoyed going to the dentist as a kid. I want to provide my patients with that same, comfortable experience. It’s very rewarding to see my patients grow and really look forward to coming back for their appointments.
What is your favorite way to give back to the community?
I spend a lot of time mentoring undergrads to give them the tools they need to be successful dental school applicants. I also mentor current dental students through the organization, Alpha Omega. I spend a lot of time time supporting my local community as well!
What is your #1 goal for your patients?
My number one goal is that from their first appointment, to treatment, to future recalls my patients feel happy and comfortable. I want them to look forward to returning to our office and having their whole family grow with the practice.
What are some of your favorite things?
Food:
All things Asian! Sushi, Dim sum, Korean BBQ, chinese, and thai you name it!
Drink:
Any version of an iced coffee!
Activities:
Spending time with my family. Traveling, biking, running and all things Disney!
